We can’t do it without YOU!

LEAD TEAM is an opportunity for you as a students to step up, serve, and help lead within PARKHILLS STUDENTs. As a member of LEAD TEAM, you’ll serve alongside our ministry leaders and use your gifts to make a difference in the lives of other students

 

Choose from 4 different teams:

  • 🙌 Hospitality Team – Help create a welcoming environment for students.
  • 🎵 Worship Team – Help lead students in worship and point them toward Jesus.
  • 🎥 Tech/Media Team – Serve behind the scenes through production, media, and technology.
  • 🎉 Events Team – Help plan, organize, and create memorable student ministry experiences.

Step 1- Learn Your Spiritual Gifts

God has created each of us unique and with unique gifts  so that we can work together as “one body with many parts” (Romans 12:4-5).

Please take our quick Spiritual Gifts Assessment below. Once you have completed the assessment upload your results to the interest form found in step 3. Or send your results to jordan@parkhillsbc.org

EVENTS TEAM

Help create experiences students won’t forget.

The Events Team helps plan and execute special events, activities, and experiences throughout the year. These students get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create great events while helping make sure students have a place to connect, have fun, and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Help brainstorm ideas for student events
  • Assist with event planning and preparation
  • Help with decorations and event setup
  • Assist with games and activities
  • Help organize food and other event elements
  • Serve during special events and outings
  • Help with teardown and cleanup
  • Welcome and engage students during events
  • Help identify ways to make events more fun and engaging
  • Work with student ministry leaders to execute event plans
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities

Events Team students should be creative, energetic, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever they are needed.

WORSHIP TEAM

Use your gifts to help lead students toward Jesus.

The Worship Team helps create opportunities for students to worship God through music and other creative expressions. This team isn’t just about being on stage—it’s about using your gifts to help other students encounter and respond to Jesus.

Responsibilities:

  • Help lead worship during ELEVATE and student ministry events
  • Participate in worship rehearsals when scheduled
  • Prepare songs and learn assigned parts
  • Help create a worshipful environment
  • Serve through vocals, instruments, or other creative gifts
  • Encourage other students to participate in worship
  • Help with worship-related setup and teardown
  • Work alongside the worship and student ministry leaders
  • Be prepared and responsible when serving
  • Use your platform to point people toward Jesus rather than yourself

Worship Team students should demonstrate a heart for Jesus, a willingness to serve, and a desire to help others worship—not simply a desire to be on stage.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

Help people feel welcome, seen, and connected.

The Hospitality Team is all about creating an environment where every student feels like they belong. These students are often the first people someone encounters when they walk into a student ministry event, making their role incredibly important.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome students as they arrive at ELEVATE and student events
  • Help new students feel comfortable and connected
  • Look for students who may be standing alone or having trouble getting connected
  • Help with check-in and directing students when needed
  • Assist with seating, rooms, and event setup
  • Help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere
  • Encourage students to get involved in groups and activities
  • Assist with hosting special events
  • Help communicate important information to students
  • Be intentional about building relationships with students

Hospitality Team students should be friendly, outgoing, encouraging, and willing to notice people who might otherwise go unnoticed.

TECH/MEDIA

Make ministry happen behind the scenes.

The Tech/Media Team serves behind the scenes to help create engaging and distraction-free environments for students. From running production to capturing photos and videos, this team helps tell the story of what God is doing through PARKHILLS STUDENTs.

Responsibilities:

  • Run slides, ProPresenter, lighting, or other production elements
  • Assist with sound and audio when needed
  • Help operate cameras and video equipment
  • Capture photos and videos at student events
  • Help create content for social media
  • Assist with livestream or video production when applicable
  • Help set up and tear down production equipment
  • Learn and operate ministry technology responsibly
  • Work with ministry leaders to prepare for services and events
  • Help troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Look for creative ways to communicate what is happening in student ministry

Tech/Media Team students should be dependable, detail-oriented, teachable, and willing to work behind the scenes to help the ministry succeed.
