What’s VBS?
Kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade in the current year learn about Jesus in a Biblically-sound and fun new way each summer. This core event evangelizes, disciples, and motivates kids using solid Bible truths, crafts, games, and large-group activities.
Mid-Week Activities
Ignite is all about sharing the Gospel, building strong discipleship foundations, and helping kids grow in their relationship with Jesus, all while having an unforgettable time!

Kids Night In and Parents Day Out
Several times throughout the year we provide opportunities for fun, bible based, kid-friendly activities for kiddos one year through 5th Grade! Cost is $20/child per day.
Preteen Summer Camp
Each year completed 3rd through 5th graders get away for a few days to deepen their walk with God, develop a love for His Word, and form strong Christian friendships.

The School at Parkhills
The School at Parkhills is a ministry of Parkhills Baptist Church for children ages six months (as of September 1) through fourth grade. Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm, September through May. Our program aims to allow children to grow and develop as Jesus did – “in wisdom and stature, in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52).
Want to Serve?
Our Kids Ministry is always looking for those with a servant’s heart who want to love and care for our children with the love of Jesus. There are many opportunities to volunteer including Nursery/Childcare, Vacation Bible School, and Sunday + Wednesday teaching for K-5th Graders. If you’re interested in serving in any area of the Kids Ministry, please contact Abbie Woodall.
Starting January 2027, one parent per household must serve on a rotational basis in the kids ministry, if your kiddos are attending during the 10:45am service time on Sundays, on Wednesday evenings, and for events. Parents will be asked to start the process of becoming an approved volunteer by submitting their background check after regularly attending for three months or more. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!
