The School at Parkhills is a ministry of Parkhills Baptist Church for children ages six months (as of September 1) through fourth grade. Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 2:00 pm, September through May. Our program aims to allow children to grow and develop as Jesus did – “in wisdom and stature, in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52).

Individual, small, and large group activities are planned to meet the specific needs and interests of each age group. Our school seeks to foster and nourish each child as they grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.

We use a hybrid of play-based and academic learning approaches, along with several curricula to teach and prepare students to be successful at the next level.

Children ages two through fourth grade attend Big Church, Music, and Spanish. All children are introduced to community servants such as the police and fire departments, doctor, nurse, and dentist.  Special events such as a Christmas Program, Rodeo Day, Petting Zoo, Fiesta Parade, Mother’s Day Brunch, and Graduation are held throughout the year.

Pre-kindergarten through fourth grade must attend two days a week.
